The top car audio product for aftermarket car audio & electronics at CES 2017, according to your clicks, was a unique universal 8-inch radio from Rosen (AAMP Global), offering a simple way to add CarPlay and a large screen to any car.
Rosen calls the single DIN model UN1780 a “Floating Tablet Multimedia System.” It’s due to ship in July at $1,499 suggested retail price.
The second hot car audio product at CES was a dual screen radio from Soundstream, the model VRN-DD7HB.
Unfortunately, Soundstream had its share of headaches at the show, as the prototype of the twin-screened unit was stolen from its booth. Not to worry, Soundstream’s shipping plans remain on target for March. Price has yet to be finalized, but Soundstream gave a ballpark of $500 to $1,000.
The third hot aftermarket product introduced during CES was the Escort Custom Radar Detector, Max Ci 360.
