Kenwood revealed pricing at CES last week on two hot products due this year.

Its new DSP/amplifier, the eXcelon XR600-6DSP, is expected to be one of the first DSP/amplifiers to work with a new ADS Maestro AR module to directly replace a factory amplifier.   It’s due to ship in March at a suggested retail price of $799.  See more information on the DSP/amplifier here.

The Maestro AR module allows factory integration in many Chrysler and Ford vehicles (with more to come). It connects to the CAN bus to deliver a clean 2-channel audio signal usable for aftermarket products with volume control from the radio.  It will be available in March at $129.

Also from Kenwood is a new DMX7704S mechless AV deck with CarPlay and Android Auto that is one of the first car radios to display video from a DVR and control the DVR from the radio.   The DMX7704S will ship in February at a street price of $550.  It displays images and warnings from Kenwood’s DRV-N520 Drive Recorder–a DVR with collision warning that alerts the driver when he’s approaching the car ahead too fast.
