Press Release: TORONTO, CA- The third annual Canadian Mobile Electronics (CMA) Expo in Toronto concluded with organizers reporting a 10 percent increase in attendance and a 30 percent expansion of the show’s footprint compared to previous years.
The premier event for Canadian retailers provided hands-on and classroom-style training sessions from leading distributors and manufacturers. Industry leaders including Automobility, Importel, Gemsen, Dix Performance, Gentec International, JVCKENWOOD, Trends Electronics, VOXX Electronics, SiriusXM, Erikson Consumer, Pioneer Electronics, Fortin, and Grandwest Distribution were all actively displaying their latest products and innovations.
“One of the biggest focuses for this year was education with nine Skills Workshops and three Educational Seminars,” said Ben Woo, one of the event organizers. “We tried to include emerging markets of the industry including social media, growth within your market, AI Business Solutions and automotive security.”
The expo featured 52 manufacturer training sessions led by top industry trainers, with many reaching capacity attendances. Notably, even early morning Saturday sessions were standing room only, with industry veterans with 30+ years of experience seen taking front-row seats to learn about the newest installation procedures and products.
The eight In-Vehicle Sessions, which offered hands-on technical training, were particularly well-received by attendees.
Major Canadian retail chains including Visions Electronics and Andre’s Electronic Experts were among those represented at the event.
SiriusXM hosted both a Friday evening networking event with food and beverages on the show floor and a dedicated SiriusXM Networking Lounge that became a popular hub for industry connections throughout the weekend.
CMA Founder and CEO Frank Spezzano has already confirmed the return of the CMA Expo for 2026, with dates and location to be announced.
