Stinger displayed at the SEMA Show, the new HORIZON12 radio with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.
The new HORIZON12, with a 12.8 inch screen offers similar to features to the current Horizon10, but with a larger screen that can be mounted in Landscape or Portrait viewing mode. It is expected to ship in January as a universal radio and also available for the Jeep Wrangler JL, model years 2018 to 2023 for a seamless installation . This will be followed by a kit for the Jeep Wrangler JK, model years 2011 to 2018.
The HORIZON12 and the Jeep kits are expected to carry a retail price range of $1299 to $1699.
Features include a capacitive screen with anti-glare, anti-reflective, and anti-fingerprint film. The deck includes Accessory Control for managing up to four accessories directly on-screen. It includes four AHD/CVBS camera video inputs to display up to four safety cameras, and it integrates seamlessly with Stinger’s ENLIGHT10 Lighting to control LED lighting directly from the HORIZON12 screen.
The HORIZON12 provides on-screen control of AudioControl’s DM Smart app (for use when an optional AudioControl DSP is installed), a 15-band adjustable graphic EQ, and customizable audio presets. The system has 4.5Vrms 8-channel RCA outputs, subwoofer control, as well as Toslink. A built-in microSD card slot supports optional NextGen iGO navigation.
The HORIZON12 is SiriusXM ready with built-in HD Radio. GM and Toyota vehicle specific parts will be released sometime in 2025

You had me at… “control of AudioControl’s DM Smart app”. I love my HEIGH10. But, it looks like it is timer for an upgrade.
We just replaced the HEIGH10 with the Horizon 10 in our Jeep. Even though we’re using the digital out we noticed an improvement in sound quality. And the display is much better. Dang. Gonna need to upgrade again soon once the 12″ is out!
