Compustar shows radio that is the first with a built-in Maestro module at the 2024 SEMA Show.

Compustar displayed at the SEMA Show this week, two radios that are the first, it said, to include a built-in Maestro module. Typically, a Maestro module is offered as an outboard add-on to an aftermarket radio.

Compustar is using a built-in  iDatalink Maestro RR2, which retains OE features such as steering wheel control when you replace the factory radio.

The single DIN radios, available in 7- or 10-inch sizes, are due in 2025.  They offer wireless CarPlay and Android Auto and include an HDMI input and optical output as well as USB C, and USB.  The radio supports up to four cameras and includes a 13-band equalizer.

The radios will support all iDatalink Maestro T-harnesses for streamlined installation into various vehicles.

Compustar is still finalizing some of the radio features and has not yet set a price.
