Dual Electronics Names New Presidents

Namsung America, which markets the Dual and Jensen brands, announced several new positions including two new presidents.

Jim Matthay has been promoted to President of Aftermarket Namsung America. He has served at Dual for 13 years and he worked at Pioneer for 16 years prior to that. He is tasked with driving growth through sales, marketing and products in the car stereo category. Namsung’s aftermarket division. Prior to his promotion Matthay was Senior VP and General Manager of the aftermarket division.

Matt Vinson, one of the founders of Dual 22 years ago, has also been promoted to President of Specialty Sales at Namsung Integrated Systems. Vinson was previously Senior Vice President & Senior Technology Officer at Namsung. Prior to that he served as VP at Recoton Corp.

As we reported earlier, Doug Kern, an industry veteran who has worked in roles for Anaba Group, Valor Multimedia and most recently at BOSS for 14 years, has joined Dual Electronics to work with key accounts in the field channel and national retailers.
