Tunes-N-Tint continues its movie theater promotions, the latest at a private pre-screening of the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire last week.
In a series of promotions begun in 2022, Tunes-N-Tint ‘rents out’ a movie theater to pre-screen popular movies, receiving local radio and TV coverage for its efforts. Actually, it pre-purchases all the tickets for the event from the theater (100 seats) plus popcorn and soda vouchers for each person. The theater allows the pre-release of the movie under this arrangement.
The tickets are given away via the local radio station, which advertises the event with Tunes-N-Tint branding in the ads. Its a win win for both the station and the shop as the give away draws listeners to tune into the station and Tunes-n-Tint receives many thousands of dollars worth of free advertising.
At last week’s Ghostbuster screening some attendees came to the event wearing full ghostbuster outfits and a local ‘ghostbusters chapter’ even brought out an echto1 vehicle and joined us!,” said Tunes-n-Tint owner Joe Cassity.
