MUSWAY has entered the vehicle specific audio kit market starting with BMW and Mercedes speaker kits.

In addition, the company will soon ship a staggered-powered DSP amplifier offering 10-channel power and 14- channel DSP.

MUSWAY says it is dedicated to the specialist.  Its products are not sold on online marketplaces like Amazon and eBay and it offers high margins for retailers with strong customer service, said Chris Bennett, VP Sales Global Marketing, which began distributing the German engineered MUSWAY products in the US about 18 months ago.

The company showed at KnowledgeFest in Las Vegas this month, a new Mercedes drop-in replacement system that includes an 8-inch woofer that fits in the doors, a 4-inch coaxial and 4-inch component set.  They use OEM connectors and offer Mercedes-Benz styling.  They also use twist into place connections.

The CSM206C Mercedes component speakers handle 60 watts RMS, 120 watts max. They use a glass fiber cone woofer, dual neodymium magnet, and 25 mm silk dome neodymium tweeter with a frequency range of 75 – 24000 Hz.  Mounting depth is 1.26 inches.  MSRP is $699.95 for the component set and $599.95 for the CSM206X coaxial set. The 8-inch subwoofer, CSM206W L/R, handles 120 watts RMS at $1,299.95.

BMW System

These join the MUSWAY BMW system with 4-inch coaxial and component sets and an 8-inch woofer.  The coaxial CSB42X uses a fiberglass cone and a dual neodymium driver with solid N42H magnet at $399.95.  The CSB4.2C component set handles 60 watts RMS, 120 watts peak at $549.95. They come with multiple brackets to fit BMW models E, F and G.  The speakers will also fit in some Tesla models.  The 8-inch woofer fits under the seat in BMWs at $899.95.  All the products are plug and play.

A new Tesla plug and play drop-in system is also expected by the end of the year.

Staggered-Powered Amplifier

Due in Q2 is a new amplifier that offers different power output for two of the amplifier’s 10 channels.  At 4 ohms, channels 1 through 8 are rated at 75 watts and channels 9 and 10 are rated at 145 watts.  At 2 ohms, channels 1 through 8 are rated at 110 watts, and channels 9 and 10 are rated at 180 watts. Bridged at 4 ohms, the ratings are 330 watts for channels 1-8 and 500 watts for channels 9 and 10.

Pricing for the M10 amplifier is expected at around $1,799.  Two other new amplifiers from MUSWAY are the FIVE100 5-channel and the ONE2000 monoblock.

MUSWAY has won several EISA awards. Prior to Global Marketing being appointed the US distributor, MUSWAY was distributed by Steven Bach of Aunex, before his passing.

  1. The price point is still so high. I’ve had multiple BMW owners scoff at the price of Bavsounds speakers, and this isn’t much better. $400 for a pair of 4 inch mids is hard to accept for a lot of people, especially those with older Bimmers and just want it to sound halfway decent. Hybrid Audio Technologies is a nice alternative to these factory fit companies. I get a bit more labor for making them fit, and the customer gets far superior speakers for less money. $900 for a “replacement” 8 inch subwoofer to fit in the shitty factory enclosure is a joke. $1300 for the other one is just plain stupid. These companies just don’t get it. They keep coming out with different versions of the same overpriced stuff. It really sucks having to explain to people that their very expensive subwoofers aren’t going to give them much of a difference in amount of bass. A Helix DSP multi channel amplifier, with separate subwoofer amp and bandpass enclosure for one 8 or 10 inch woofer has put more smiles on faces than any “drop in speaker” or amp combination.

  2. I wish that stagged amp was 6×75 and 4×145. Also to note, unless something has changed all the Musway amp’s only have 2 Ch low level input. i do my fair share of retaining the factory head unit systems, but we still replace heads in many vehicles.
