Metra Bronco Dash Kit

Metra announced several new dash kits including kits for the new Ford Bronco, Nissan Pathfinder and, as announced earlier, the Ford Maverick.

The Bronco kit is Metra’s first for model years 2021-2023 with 8-inch factory screens. The kit 107-FD2 is designed to work with Pioneer’s 6.8-inch modular receivers such as the DMH-C2550NEX and the DMH-C2500NEX. But it will also work with most shallow-mount or L-shaped radios with the chassis at the top of the screen.

It is joined by a new TurboTactile dash kit with a built-in OLED screen for select 2019-Up Ram trucks.  It is designed to install Pioneer’s 6.8-inch modular receivers, including the DMH-C2550NEX and DMH-WC5700NEX, into the late model Rams with the factory 8.4-inch screen and dual-zone climate control.  The kit retains the factory amplifier and steering wheel controls as well as climate control.  But, again, it will also work with most shallow-mount or L-shaped radios with the chassis at the top of the screen.  The kit model 107-CH6B, includes hard buttons for features typically lost when removing the factory radio.

Another new dash kit is the 95-7643 designed to fit the 2013-2020 Nissan Pathfinder. It has easy-to-use rotary knobs for climate control and it has a 7-inch touchscreen and hard buttons to retain most of the features typically lost when replacing the factory radio including safety features and steering wheel controls. The Pathfinder’s hazard button and passenger airbag indicator have also been integrated into the kit.

The new AXPIO-NI2 is also for 2013-2020 Nissan Pathfinders but it works exclusively with Pioneer radios.  This is also true of the AXPIO-MAV1 for the 2022-Up Ford Maverick.  Both kits include vehicle-specific harnessing. Through the kits, the Pioneer screen will be able to retain, display and control vehicle information and settings. These settings would otherwise be lost after replacing the head unit. The kits also retain steering wheel audio controls and R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power), and they provide accessory power (12-volt-10-amp) and NAV output for the parking brake, reverse, and speed sense.

In total, new Metra dash kits will be available for the following vehicle models:
