Metra Announces Ford Maverick Kit, Tesla DSP

Metra Electronics pre-announced ahead of the SEMA show a number of new products including one of the first Ford Maverick dash kits. The 2022-Up Ford Maverick kit works specifically with Pioneer radios.   It will include an Axxess interface and vehicle-specific T-harness.

The kit will be displayed at the SEMA show October 31- November 3 along with Metra’s first Tesla product (aside from some speaker adapter plates).

Other Metra dash kits launching at SEMA work with the 2013-2020 Nissan Pathfinder, 2019-Up RAM trucks, 2012-2019 Porsche 911, 2013-2016 Boxster and Cayman, 2021-2023 Ford Bronco and other vehicles.

Metra will also show new Axxess DSPs, including a DSPX package for 2021-Up Teslas to work with Tesla’s A2B system.

The products are expected to be shipping soon, although specific dates were not available.

Additionally, Metra’s Axxess is in the process of  simplifying its product line and restructuring its Vehicle Fit Guide.

Other products for the SEMA show include plug-n-play audio systems for select 2014-2022 Harley-Davidson motorcycles that were developed along with HARMAN and are sold only to brick-and-mortar dealers for in-store sales only.

The Heise LED brand will introduce at the SEMA show new vehicle accent lighting kits, individual LED tubes, ambient chasing lighting kits for vehicle dash and door trim, a 6 gang switch panel, and a chasing third brake light.

New iBEAM safety systems include a window-mounted 2K DVR, a universal multi-mount camera system, and an adjustable spare tire camera kit.

New Jeep products include RGB headlight kits and fog light kits, lower dash speaker grille cut-ins, dashboard speaker covers, an A-pillar 8 gang switch panel system, and other products.

New devices from Metra’s  Tsunami and T-Spec brand installation products include new single-zone and three-zone controllers with Bluetooth wireless technology.

Metra will display at booth #10539 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center at the SEMA  show. It will also have a powersports products booth #60031 in the West Hall.
