Apple may be developing a heads-up display for windshields as part of its Apple Car project.
The car’s full windshield will act as an HUD using built-in sensors, said managing director of equity research at Global Equities Research Trip Chowdhry, as reported in TechNewsWorld.
The Apple display measures between 27 and 50 inches (a large iMac has a 27 inch screen and a windshield measures about 50 inches).
Tech analyst Roger Lanctot of Strategy Analytics said this technology is already available or in the works from other car makers.
Apple is reportedly building a self-driving car under a project named “Titan.” Earlier this week, The Guardian reported Apple is actively seeking a location for testing the cars in the San Francisco Bay area.
