Kicker announced new Vehicle-Specific Solutions (VSS) for Ford F-150, F-250 and F-350 truck owners. They include a custom subwoofer, amplifier, wiring harness and brackets without the need for metal cutting. They also keep the factory wiring intact.
The new systems are shipping now from $799.95 to $1,499.95.
One of the new VSS PowerStage systems adds a 50-watt-per-channel amplifier directly to factory speakers. It integrates with the factory radio using the existing amp mounts and is pre-coded to retain all radio functionality.
A 10-inch subwoofer is also included. It is enclosed in thick, custom-molded ABS and fits under the seat. It’s powered by a built-in 200-watt sub amplifier and it also offers plug and play installation.
The system is available for the 2012-2015 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty SuperCrew with the 4- or 8-inch MyFord radio.
A second PowerStage (PF150SC15) uses an 8-inch powered subwoofer with 200 watt amplifier and 50 watt per channel amplifier designed for the 2015 F-150 Super Cab and Super Crew with the MyFord radio (4- or 8-inch screen).
SubStage systems are similar but exclude the amplifier.
