Parrot is showing at CES an advanced car radio that can connect to both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The double-DIN navigation radio runs on the new Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system and will include “driving assistance services” plus handsfree calling, vocal commands, a dashcam and onboard diagnostics of the car.
There’s no ship date or pricing yet on the unit, called the RNB 6.
The upcoming Android Auto (as yet unavailable in the market), like Apple CarPlay, will allow easy radio access to navigation, music and texts when a compatible phone is plugged into to the radio.
Parrot is displaying at CES this week at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall 3, booth #30315.
