Dual Electronics announced 7 new in-dash AV/radios for 2015 including one model with “2-way mirroring.” The deck can both mirror what is on an Android phone onto the radio screen and then secondly, the radio can control the smartphone.

Additionally, it is offering its first Bluetooth amplifiers with audio streaming as well as Bluetooth sound processors with audio streaming.

Another standout product for 2015 is a WiFi dongle.

The AV/radio with 2-way Android mirroring via an HDMI connection is the DV695MB ($399 suggested retail price). It also has a 6.2-inch capacitive touch screen (similar to the multi-touch screens found on smartphones and tablets).

It is joined by two decks with 1–way mirroring, where the radio mirrors the screen of an iPhone or Android phone via HDMI, but does not control the device. These include the DV625BH (double DIN, $269) and in DV725BH (single DIN, $249).

Dual’s new WiFi dongle can wirelessly connect a smartphone to the radio. It plugs into the HDMI and USB inputs on the back of the receiver and communicates with any smartphone using WiFi for both audio and video streaming. The DMH25 DualCast WiFi Dongle supports up to 1080p video streaming and works with most iPhone and Android devices.

Also in the line is a new Bluetooth sound processor with audio streaming from a phone. The device (Smart EQ Processor) can control balance, fader and 7-band EQ from a Bluetooth phone or tablet (iPhone or Android). It also controls volume and may be connected to up to 3 amplifiers.
