Rosen is launching a new line of sensors that are the first to use triangulation technology to improve performance.
The sensors are also the first introduced under Echomaster brand since it was purchased by Rosen last December.
“These systems are unique as they utilize triangulation technology that measures obstacles using 2 sensors at a time to more accurately detect obstacles and eliminate dead zones within the detection zones,” said Steve Weimar, Rosen Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
The ParkAlert parking sensor systems use four low profile, quick-connect sensors that snap into a harness and connect to an electronic control module by a single connector (with OEM style locking).
The systems include 3 optional angle adaptors (3o, 6o & 12o) for different car bumpers. They include an electronic control module, audible beeper, hole saw for plastic bumpers and a self-adhesive drill template to simplify sensor spacing. There is also an optional truck installation kit that can work with an optional LED display with buzzer for both visual and audible alerts.
The ParkAlert front sensor system connects to the car’s OBD2 harness., so the sensors automatically turn on at speeds below 6 mph for use while parking and low-speed front collision avoidance during bumper-to-bumper traffic.
The sensors ship in August and will come in four colors: matte black, gloss black, white and silver.
