EMF Audio Labs, Spartanburg, SC, which runs an online store for Sundown Audio and XS Power brands, is now adding its own US-built subwoofer brand called Ermagerd.
The subwoofers are hand-built and handle 6,500 watts RMS. They feature 8 binding posts for each speaker (accepting 4 gauge wire) so users can connect the subwoofer to multiple amplifiers using larger speaker wire.
The subwoofers also have a peak to peak Xmax of 4 inches and use 4-inch voice coils, said EMF Owner Sean Belanger. They come with a true carbon fiber dustcap.
Ermagerd sizes range from 12 to 18 inches at $875 to $1050 and are available at http://www.emfcaraudio.com.
EMF Audio was founded in 2009.
