iSimple began shipping Monday a “light” version of its InSeam car device that lets you operate iPhone Siri or Android S-Voice or Google Now control over music, texts, email and other functions without touching your phone.
The new device works in cars without steering wheel control, while the InSeam uses steering wheel controls.
The new TranzIt BLU HF is a Bluetooth kit that comes with a button that installs on the dash or car console. Pressing the button launches the device and it can also launch the voice command feature on your phone to perform hands free tasks without fumbling with the phone for functions such as asking receiving turn-by-turn directions, setting reminders and having texts read aloud to your or sending back your verbal responses.
At a suggested retail price of $149.95, the device includes a Bluetooth transceiver and FM modulator that attaches to the car radio and a multi-function button and windproof microphone. Users also download an iPhone or Android app for the voice control.
