CLEARWATER, FL – AAMP of America announced that Jeff Smith – a 23-year veteran of the mobile electronics industry – has joined the company in the newly established role of Corporate Trainer. Smith will be responsible for managing and leading the assessment, production design and delivery of training programs across the organization and national in-field customer training for all of AAMP of America’s brands.
According to Ron Freeman, CEO of AAMP of America, “AAMP of America has recently made some massive expansions in our products offerings, technology and the number of services we provide to our customers. That said, we found ourselves in need of an industry expert capable of developing comprehensive training programs, and who could effectively deliver that training to car audio installers, dealers and distributors.”
Smith has experience as an installer, salesperson, shop owner and a manufacturer’s representative. He was nominated as Installer of the Year six years in a row and has built several award-winning mobile sound systems in MECA, IASCA and USACI competitions.
