Earlier this month, Hyundai revealed statistics from its Blue Link infotainment services, which launched two years ago.

Remote start from a phone and remote door lock/unlock are high use features but not as high as teen alert services.

Remote lock/unlock/start has been used almost 3 million times in Hyundai vehicles over the last two years.  But geo-fencing, speed alerts and curfew alerts were used over 4.2 million times.

The top states for remote start usage were listed as : Alaska, Wyoming, Iowa, Montana and Minnesota for March 2013.

The most accident prone cities (with the most automatic collision notifications) were listed as: Las Vegas, NV;  St. Petersburg, FL; Miami, FL; Brooklyn, NY and Staten Island, NY.

States with highest number of theft reports (stolen vehicle recovery) were listed as: California, Florida, New York, Texas and New Jersey.

Hyundai’s Blue Link service originally launched on two car models and has since rolled out to most Hyundai models.
