Kicker Launches Compact CX Amps

Kicker (Stillwater Designs) introduced new small footprint CX-Series amplifiers promising superior clear sound quality.

The amplifiers come with brackets for vertical mounting.  They include double-sided fiberglass circuit boards and Litz-wound transformers to minimize power loss.   They also use Kicker FIT circuitry for noise rejection and automatic turn-on modes.  And they include TO218 output devices for high-current switching and buffered RCA outputs.

Full-range CX amplifiers are available in 4- or 5-channel models including the CX600.5 5-channel model with a 300-watt, Class-D sub section in addition to 4 full range channels.  The CX-Series also includes three monoblock amplifiers for subwoofers at either 1200-, 600- or 300- watts.
