Diamond Audio will ship this month an extra large late model Harley speaker/cut in kit offering the largest format speaker available for the newer Harley saddlebags, said the company.
The 8 x 12-inch Cut-In Lid Kit for 2024+ touring Harley-Davidson motorcycles increases the cone area of the speaker by more than an estimated 170 percent due to the “V” shape of the cone. It gives the user the equivalent of a 10-inch subwoofer, said Diamond Audio’s Bob Chanthavongsa.
Unveiled earlier this year, the speaker kit is on view at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally through August 16, with shipping expected in two weeks.
The ultra large speaker format allows “more air movement and more volume than anything else on the market, all while keeping the [saddle] bags functional,” said Diamond. The kit is patent-pending.
