Ground Zero has launched its smallest amplifiers to date in a new Radioactive series with three models that carry foot prints the size of chubby cellphones.
The new micro amplifiers are designed to fit today’s vehicles behind the dash or in a center console. They include 700 watt mono, 65 watt by 4 watt and 450 watt mono models. Pricing is moderate, ranging from $289 to $319.
The amplifiers accept high level inputs and support a bass knob. They have subsonic, boost and variable low pass filters and they accept 6 gauge wire.
The new GZRA700.1 mono is rated at 250 watts RMS into 4 ohms; 450 watts RMS into 2 ohms and 700 watts RMS into 1 ohm. Max power is rated (CEA-2006A) at 900 watts at 10 percent THD+N. Frequency response is 10 to 250
The GZRA65.4 micro is a four channel, 500 watt model with integrated active crossover and compact dimensions rated at 4 x 60 watts RMS into 4 ohms, 4 x 100 watts RMS into 2 ohms with a max power output (CEA-2006A / 10%THD+N), and a frequency response of 5 – 25kHz.HZ.
Also new is a 450.1 micro mono ultra-compact subwoofer amplifier with integrated active crossover and auto-on function. Power output is rated at 180 watts RMS into 4 ohms, 310 watts RMS into 2 ohms and 480 watts RMS into 1 ohm. Max power output (CEA-2006A/ 10% THD+N) is 640 watts with a frequency response of 10 -250 Hz.
