Exile Audio announces new marine, car products

Exile Audio, the audio company acquired by Orca Design & Manufacturing late last year, announced new marine amplifiers, coaxials, and subwoofers expected to ship in the next 60 to 90 days.

Exile was originally a car audio company launched by former Phoenix Gold engineers, according to car audio forums. The company transitioned to the marine audio market, specializing in wakeboard tower speakers, amplifiers and other marine audio systems and now also offers car audio products.

The company is also known for its Javelin 5-channel amplifier and high output, ported subwoofers. The Javelin 5-channel and XM30 monoblock amplifiers remain in the lineup, said Nalaka Adikari of Orca.

Five new amplifiers are on view at KnowledgeFest this week in Las Vegas, including two 4-channel models, a mono, a 5-channel and 8-channel amplifiers for marine or car audio applications.

The amplifiers are 1-ohm stable and have coated circuit boards for marine or in-car use.

Coaxials will be offered in 6.5- and 8-inches and the new subwoofer will be available in 8-, 10- and 12-inches. Pricing will be announced.
