Rockford Fosgate announced a new PUNCH speaker line, with three series focused on easy fitment in vehicles.
Debuting at the SEMA Show today, the new PUNCH speakers includes the P1, P2 and P3 series, which are designed to easily fit across a range of vehicles “regardless of the make or model,” said the company.
The new design includes new frames, optimized mounting holes, and a removable motor cover. Speaker sizes range from 2.5 inches to 6×9 inches.
Each speaker uses a technology called VAST 2.0™ (Vertical Attached Surround Technique) that provides up to a 25% increase in cone area, said Rockford.
The line includes glass fiber baskets for durability and Santoprene® surrounds and Nomex® spiders.
The P1 is a 3 way coaxial system, the P2 is a 2-way convertible and the P3 is a 3-way component system.
