Metra Electronics is introducing a new series of data interfaces with Steering Wheel Control (SWC) at the 2025 SEMA Show this week.
The series is a cost effective way to retain factory steering wheel controls and other vehicle functions typically lost during head unit upgrades. It also works with a wide range of radio brands, so it can be used with radio purchases from online retailers.
The devices have a small footprint, use easy-to-set DIP switch programming, and provide 12-volt accessory power. They have NAV outputs (parking brake, reverse, and speed sense), and have Type-C USB updatability for future add-ons.
New vehicle applications include:
- Select 2014-2022 Chrysler (MET-CH6)
- Select 2005-2018 Chrysler (MET-CH14)
- Select 2005-2014 Ford (MET-FD4)
- Select 2001-2014 Toyota (MET-TY3)
Metra is displaying at the SEMA Show 2025 in booth #10439 in the North Hall.
