AudioControl launched its first pro car audio speakers. Called the EPIC Pro Series, the line of five drivers is expected to be available mid-June. These are joined by new AudioControl subwoofers (not pro audio) due mid-July under the EPIC X Series.
The EPIC Pro speakers use a unique phase cap design that “blends the best elements of a dust cap and phase plug—smoothing transitions between mids and highs while boosting clarity and bandwidth,” AudioControl said.
The models range from a 3-inch tweeter to an 8-inch midrange at suggested retail prices from $40 to $100. See specs below:

The new six EPIC X Series subwoofers were designed from the ground up using non-pressed paper cones and heavy-duty motor structures and components. They are designed for high output and accurate bass, said AudioControl. Suggested retail prices range from $109 to $149.
