Alpine announced it will introduce its first plug and play subwoofer/amplifier upgrade kit for the Tesla Model 3 Premium and Model Y.
Alpine already offers complete Tesla audio replacement packages, but this is Alpine’s first plug and play kit. It will debut at the 2025 Electrify Expo event in San Pedro, CA, June 21-22, where consumers can hear and purchase the kit.
The subwoofer/amplifier kit will ship to dealers this month at a retail price of $999.95.
Alpine said it will release specifications on the system at a later date.
“We took the feedback we received during our last Electrify Expo event and turned it into a powerful, subwoofer upgrade package that we believe hits the mark,” said Dan Sparks, National Sales Director for the Alpine Aftermarket Division at Alps Alpine North America. “Our ‘boots-to-the-ground’ approach at these events allows us to hear directly from the consumer and craft solutions that will get them excited about their audio system.”
Electrify Expo is the number one Electric Vehicle Festival in North America with a one million square foot outdoor festival that attracts over 30,000 attendees.
Alpine will show one of its earlier Tesla aftermarket 11-speaker packages at the expo in a 2024 Tesla Model Y upfitted with other accessories in partnership with Rebel Off Road, an off-road vehicle builder with locations in Lake Forest, CA, and Fort Worth, TX.
