That new “revolutionary” car audio company, we reported on earlier now has a name—DSP Solutions.
You may remember that D’Amore Engineering’s Tony D’Amore and Juan Rodriguez have teamed with Jason Digos of BOSS Audio (BIG) to create a new company that will debut head units, amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers for car and marine audio at MasterTech Expo, March 20-23 in Mesa, AZ.
They claim technology that allows an amplifier to run 6 to 60 volts DC, producing over 1,600 watts RMS at over 100 percent efficiency.
The new company, DSP Solutions issued a press release today saying it will announce the actual brand name of the new line (code named Project M) at a pre-show, private party on March 19.
Project M products will launch this year aimed at dealers and distributors and the OEM market.
Project M operates independently under DSP Solutions, with a separate team. DSP Solutions and BOSS Audio share partial common ownership through a holding company, but Project M “remains distinct in its mission and operations,” said Rachel West, Director of Brand Marketing for DSP Solutions.
DSP Solutions has the potential to expand into other brands.
DSP Solutions said, “Over the past year, we’ve built an exceptional team, and we’re finally ready to showcase the next evolution of mobile entertainment. If you think you’ve seen it all in audio, think again. This is a whole new way of doing things,” according to Rachel West, Director of Brand Marketing for DSP Solutions.
DSP Solutions said, “Project M isn’t just another player in mobile audio, it’s a revolution… But what’s the real game-changer? Patented, cutting-edge technology that shatters limitations in power-restricted environments, redefining what’s possible for mobile sound.”
DSP Solutions will also be a Diamond Sponsor of MasterTech Expo.
“We are thrilled to see cutting-edge technology and innovation taking center stage at MasterTech Expo,” said Bryan Schmitt, MasterTech founder/CEO/president.

I am always excited to see NEW and innovative products introduced to our market. This one had me intrigued… until they stated over 100% efficiency. That’s when they lost me. if they have cracked the laws of physics why, for the love of God, would they apply that to Car Audio??? Because it is NOT true.
Stephen, maybe it’s a technology that’s been created in the last 30 years. You probably don’t believe we have self driving cars either.
Don’t be a hater
They claim technology that allows an amplifier to run 6 to 60 volts DC, producing over 1,600 watts RMS at over 100 percent efficiency.
As I wrote previously, this claim of over 100% efficiency is just BS
Running a power supply from a wide range of input voltages simply requires a boost converter…..old technology.
I have an idea rather claiming you know everything why not ask them the question? Your smarter than this. Sh@#ing on other brands has always been the problem with this industry. Grow up people
Over 100% efficiency???
