JBL announced at the SEMA Show this week that it will ship its double DIN wired and wireless CarPlay and Android deck in January at a price of $299.95 MAP.
The new Legend 700 is a shallow mount, mechless receiver. It is steering wheel control ready and it comes with a trim kit. It was first shown at the CES Show in January.
JBL also just started shipping two powersports source units and two single DIN basic radios, as well as a new amplifier.
New source units include the JAM3000 entry level 2.8-inch marine radio with a 2.8-inch color TFT screen, 15 watt by 4 RMS built-in amplifier, and AM/FM radio. It is rated as IP66 water resistant.
The step up JAM5000N adds NMEA 2000 certification.
Single DIN radios include the Celebrity 100 mechless deck with a detachable face, Bluetooth, USB, SD, Aux input and FM radio. The step up Celebrity 150 adds AM radio and RCA line outputs.
A new JBL Club amplifier is the A758, an 8-channel amplifier rated at 75 watts RMS x 8 at 4 ohms, (125 watts RMS x 8 at 2 ohms) 250 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms in bridged mode (4-ohm stable in bridged mode). The Class D model has variable high- and low-pass filters (32-320 Hz, 12 dB/octave) on front and rear channels.. It measures about 14 x 2 x 7 inches.
The company also began shipping new loaded subwoofer enclosures.
