Upstart Rep Firm Expands

Crossover Marketing Group, a fast growing manufacturer’s rep firm in the Pacific Northwest, announced it has partnered with industry veteran Shawn Simpson, who is launching Crossover Marketing Southeast in early 2025.  This will extend Crossover’s coverage to Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

Simpson has served car audio for over 34 years as a manufacturer’s rep and former VP Sales and Marketing at Wet Sounds and Sundown Audio. He is now the majority ownership partner for Crossover’s Southeast territory.

The original Crossover firm becomes Crossover Marketing Northwest. The firm has partnered with some of the top industry brands since it launched about 18 months ago.  These include Pioneer, Kicker, Elettromedia (Hertz, Audison), VOXX (Directed), BOSS Audio, Dynamat and King Boxes.

Crossover Northwest is led by Rob Sutton, former executive at Kenwood, and Paul Pilat, formerly of Intel, Acoustic Research, RCA and other brands.

Under the new structure, Crossover Southeast will benefit from the customer service resources and tools of Crossover Northwest.

Sutton said, “Shawn was one of the top reps in the country when we worked together at Kenwood, and our friendship only grew as he moved to the factory side in recent years.
