Maxxsonics names new National Sales Manager

Maxxsonics announced the appointment of long time rep/distributor Eddie Ramirez to the new post of National Sales Manager.

Part of Ramirez’s mission at Maxxsonics is to push into car audio specialists and expand sales reps and distributors for that retail segment.

Until now, Ramirez owned the RPM Sales Group for over 20 years. RPM’s clients include Maxxsonics, Kenwood, JVC, Compustar and Metra. He started out as a car audio installer at age 15 and went on to work at Clarion building demo cars.  He moved into product training at the company and then became a sales rep. Subsequently, he worked at Directed Electronics as Sales Manager before starting RPM.

At RPM, Ramirez focused on retailers, and was visiting shops three days a week.  He will use those relationships to build out distribution to the retail specialists, he said. “I’m also going to work on the product side,” he said.

“…Having had the privilege of working closely with Maxxsonics as a representative and distributor, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, passion, and expertise that everyone here brings to the table…” Ramirez said, adding, “The  guys are a great  group of people. I don’t think they promote that. There’s a lot of enthusiasts that  have worked  in the company that I know personally….”

RPM will now be led by Maria Perez, who started the business along with Ramirez in 2004.
