ZZ2 is shipping the MPPlay single DIN head unit with a 6.9-inch widescreen that can bring wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to many types of vehicles.
The new affordable radio is particularly useful in older cars, and in vehicles that do not offer a multimedia infotainment screen or do not offer wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.
The MPPlay has two front panel USB ports and inputs for a front and rear camera and a resistive steering wheel control plus outputs for rear screens.
Users can also connect the screen to streaming devices such as the ZZAIR-Pro and Zeus Ultra2.
The MPPlay has a retail price of $159.
Features include:
· Front & Rear Camera Input: Enhance safety with easy reversing.
· Resistive Steering Wheel Control Input: Keep full control at your fingertips.
· Multiple USB Connections: Two front USB ports for all your connectivity needs & 1 USB-C.
· Rear Screen Outputs: Entertain passengers with ease.
· 1080P Resolution: Crystal-clear video playback via USB.
· Remote Control and Bluetooth: Convenient and hands-free operation.
· Linux System: Reliable and fast performance.
· Easy Installation: Comes with a 16-way harness for a hassle-free setup.
I’m seeing it with and without a volume knob. Are there two versions? Is the knob optional?
I like the form factor a lot.. curious if it’s decent to use or not, the low price is always worrying.
It reminds me of the oldschool JVC DIN full screen chameleon unit.
