New OE Rockford System for Harley

Rockford OEM subwoofer for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Rockford Fosgate announced a new motorcycle subwoofer system that will be sold through Harley-Davidson dealers.

The 300-watt subwoofer system is designed for 2023 and later Harley CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) touring bikes with the Skyline infotainment units.   The subwoofers are built to the exact specifications of the saddlebags and may be quickly removed when the rider needs to use that space.

The subwoofer uses Rockford proprietary DSP and EQ systems developed specifically for motorcycles to overcome engine, road and wind noise. In addition, it uses Bass Management Enhancement (BME) that continuously adapts to speed and road noise to maximize bass output.

Harley-Davidson will offer several options to add bass to new or existing Harley-Davidson Audio Powered by Rockford Fosgate stereo systems. For bikes equipped with a four-speaker audio system, either one or two 10-inch subwoofers may be added with the addition of a 600-watt secondary amplifier.

Rockford began supplying Harley-Davidson motorcycle audio in 2021.

  1. Guess I’ll finally make the jump to Diamond. Rockford wants to cut me out, she gone!

  2. You are looking at it the wrong way. The dealership will only get 10%to 15% pentation. However, it will bring a lot more awareness to upgrading your audio and bass for the others that didn’t by the option. Focus on you and you will have all the business you can handle.
