Amazon and Hyundai announced a partnership where Hyundai vehicles will become the first to be sold on Amazon. Additionally, Hyundai will offer Alexa in the car.
With Alexa, users will be able to issue commands to the car radio or navigation system. They can also ask Alexa to play music, podcasts or audiobooks; set reminders, update to do lists and check calendars. Additionally, through Alexa, users can also control smart home devices and warm up the house on their way home. They can double check that doors are locked and manage smart lighting and Alexa routines.
Under the new partnership shoppers can purchase a Hyundai online and then pick it up at a local dealership. They can choose a color, trim, etc as well as financing plans. See more here.
