AT&T launched a new, lower cost data rate plan for in-car WiFi. Customers with an eligible unlimited plan can add a vehicle to their plan for $10/month plus taxes and fees. Previously, the plan had a base price of $20/month.
Eligible plans include Unlimited Starter, Elite or Premium.
AT&T is also offering a 4-day “test drive” of the WiFi service from November 16 through December 31st.
With in-car WiFi, users can connect multiple devices to the Internet at once, with a connection that works inside and outside of the vehicle. They can also power in-dash applications such as navigation, streaming audio and voice assistance.
