The top selling car audio subwoofer for the first half of the year, according to Circana (formerly the NPD Group), belongs to Kicker.
In dollar sales to consumers, the best seller was the 10-inch Kicker Hideway powered subwoofer. The model 46HS10 fits under a seat, and has a rating of 150 watts at a street price of $259.96.
Tallied by unit sales to consumers, the top seller for the first half was the Kicker 43C104 raw subwoofer rated at 300 watts, with a street price of $79.90 each.

Both unit and dollar charts were largely dominated by Kicker with some JL Audio subwoofers and we see a pair of JBL door speakers crashed the chart.**
Circana’s data, which includes mass merchants, may not reflect top sales specifically at 12 volt specialists.
See the charts below by Circana (we added current street pricing and some of the descriptions):

Does this include numbers from BOSS and Skar? They seem to push through so much product I can’t believe they don’t out sell the other big names, sadly.
no way this list is accurate.
Yea I’m thinking not.
The Stealthbox description has been removed. Thank you for pointing that out.
Looks like no one proofed the article, Manville. See my other post.
Not sure how the JBL 6.5 Coax qualifies as a Subwoofer…….
Yes, we note that the JBL door speakers snuck in there and show it with an asterix in the chart. We published Circana’s raw data.
On second thought, adding another asterix and note. Thanks!
The JL Audio CP212-W0V3 is incorrectly described as a “Stealthbox”. It is part of our “BassWedge” line, not Stealthbox®.
