Alps Alpine has named an industry veteran as its new Director of National Sales for the Alpine Aftermarket Business Unit.
Gregg Thomas joins the company following his recent post at Car Toys as VP Merchandising. He also served for eight years at SiriusXM in roles including

Thomas has also held posts at Ultimate Electronics and Magnolia Hi-Fi.
He will oversee all national sales activities for the Alpine brand.
The appointment comes at a time when current Executive Director of the Alpine Brand business Unit, Mike Anderson, is due to retire in October. He will be directly replaced by Kunihiko Sato, current Director of Business Planning at Alps Alpine North America. Sato has held various positions at Alpine over the years in marketing, operations, and business planning.
Anderson said, “Gregg’s reputation for excellence in our industry precedes him and we look forward to the ways he’ll positively impact our business, our dedicated retail partners, and our customers.”
Thomas said, “I sold my first high-end Alpine system years ago (let’s just say it was the world’s first aftermarket car CD player)… I am excited to join a team of exceptional professionals that have made Alpine what it is today.”
