Nearly 30 percent of Tint World franchises open for two years or more are reporting sales of $1 million, announced the Tint World chain, which sells car audio, window tint, and other automotive services.

Twenty-three stores out of the 67 Tint World franchises open two years or longer in 2022 were in the million-plus range in sales, including several at $2 or $3 million in annual revenue.

The chain is rapidly launching new stores and in the last three months has opened about 30. Twelve stores are expected to open next month and 140 new stores are planned.  The current count of total stores is 131.

According to CEO Charles Bonfiglio, the average Tint World store open two years or longer is seeing revenue of $895,000 and net profits (apart from any loans) of $262,000.  Of the top 50 percent of Tint World franchises, the average revenue is $1.2 million with a net profit of $419,000 (again for stores open two years or longer).

Two and three million dollar franchise owners include (but are not limited to) Santiago and Dominica Rojas (Massapequa Park, New York), Michael Richards and Dylan Thiel (Grapevine, Texas); Jay Guan (San Diego); and Tim and Stacy Kjaer (Medford, New York).
