Elettromedia will show at KnowledgeFest under the Hertz brand, new speakers including an 8-inch SPL Show Neo coaxial and new Mille PRO shallow mount subwoofers.
The 8-inch SX Neo 200 works welll in motorcycles and side by side powersports vehicles. It’s made of Neodymium N38 with high power handling and high sensitivity. It handles 130 watts continuous and 260 watts peak, 100 to 20kHz with a sensitivity of 99.5 dB/SPL at 4 ohms.
The speaker is water and humidity resistant. The SX Neo 200 joins earlier 6.5 and 6 x 9 inch Neo models, with shipping expected soon at $599.
Also new are two shallow mount Mille PRO subwoofers in 10 and 12 inch models. They also offer high power handling and high excursion.
The subwoofers include die-cast aluminum frames, with an excursion of 0.79 inches. They are optimized for sealed enclosures. The woofers have 1.5 inch six-layer copper voice coils with a power handling of 500 watts continuous and 1000 peak for both the 10 inch model (MPS 250 S2/S4) and the 12 inch (MPS 300 s2/s4). Grilles are included.
The new subwoofers are expected to be available soon at $499 $449 for the 10-inch model and $549 for the 12-inch model.
