Press Release (edited): ENGLEWOOD, CO –VAIS announced two new SiriusXM interfaces for Toyota vehicles that allow users to add satellite radio to the car and control it from the factory radio. These are the first VAIS interfaces to receive official “SiriusXM-Ready” status.
“Up until now, we made our devices compatible with SiriusXM, but we were never officially SiriusXM-Ready. We’re now officially recognized and approved as SiriusXM-Ready on the Toyota applications, and we’re now going through validation on the rest of our devices,” said VAIS VP Sales Dennis Hopper.
The new Toyota interfaces include the GSR-TY51 for most 2014-2018 Corolla, 4 Runner,86, Highlander, Prius, Sienna, Tacoma, Tundra, Rav4 and CH-R vehicles, It is joined by the GSR-TY52 for the 2018-19 Camry, and 2019 Corolla iM, Rav4 and CH-R vehicles.
The VAIS interfaces plug into the back of the factory radio and allow for full control of SiriusXM channels and features through the radio and steering wheel controls. They use locking “OEM” style connectors, making the installation truly plug and play.
An additional benefit is they upgrade the factory USB input to a “High Speed Charging port.”

Both interfaces connect to the SiriusXM SXV300 Tuner.
