Hurricane Harvey may prove to be one the costliest natural disasters in US history, reports NBC News.
Reports are starting to filter in of 12 volt dealers impacted by the storm. Shawn Simpson of Momentum Marketing, North Dallas said 7 of the dealers he calls on are under 4 feet of water or more, and he has yet to contact another dozen retailers.
Industry members who wish to help car audio dealers in Harvey’s path may go to GoFundMe to contribute. CEoutlook will post an accounting of the funds raised and their distribution.
Accuweather is predicting the storm will have a $190 billion (with a “B”) impact on the economy, said NBC. By comparison Katrina cost the economy $160 billion and Sandy cost $70 billion.
