VOXX has entered a definitive agreement to purchase Rosen from AAMP.  It expects during the next two weeks to move Rosen operations from AAMP’s Ontario, CA warehouse to VOXX’s facilities in Nevada, Virginia and Orlando.

“Integrating the Rosen products into these three touch points will provide the Rosen customers with a high level of confidence in expedited deliveries to all reaches of the country,” said VOXX.

It added, “The acquisition of Rosen Electronics complements and expands our current rear seat entertainment leadership position in the industry, as well as adds to our extensive portfolio of RSE patents. With the announcement of the acquisition we look forward to servicing our current VOXX and newly acquired Rosen customers,” said Aron Demers, Senior Vice President, VOXX Electronics Corporation.

AAMP purchased Rosen, then an independent company, in May of 2015.

Rosen supplies car video, navigation interfaces, radio, backup sensors, and other car audio products.

  1. AAMP better have gotten a huge amount of $$$. they are idiots if they did not. VOXX would pay any price for Rosen patents.
VOXX could care less for the inventory or Rosen products. they desperately need Rosen’s patent to 100% monopolize the video market on car manufacturers. Bravo VOXX. legal monopolies are the best.
