Harman will introduce during CES the JBL BassPro Go removeable subwoofer, that can undock from the car for use as a portable streaming Bluetooth speaker.
The JBL BassPro Go, about the size of a football, delivers the same power as an 8-inch subwoofer when it’s mounted in a car docking station. But it can be removed for use elsewhere as a streaming music speaker that works with up to three smartphones or other devices.
The subwoofer has two passive radiators and a water resistant cover with a built in rechargeable battery with 15 hours of portable play time. It will ship this summer at $599.95.
