Which is Better: a Backup Camera or Backup Sensor?

A colleague tells the story of his wife backing into a pole with her new SUV. He was incredulous because the SUV had a backup camera. If retailers and suppliers post these articles on their websites, it will generate awareness of the products we sell.

If you have any questions about how to post the stories from CarTech4You on your own website email [email protected] and we’ll tell you how to do that.

You can also sign up for the newsletter on CarTech4You.com to get the latest story once a week.

CarTech4You.com’s initial stories include articles on CarPlay, backup cameras, digital signal processors and more.

Let us know what you think.  But be nice, we’re only just getting started.

  1. this is great news, i strongly feel the large players in our industry should in some way help with
the website. A unified neutral way to strengthen all. Some signage that we dealers could purchase and have in our stores for our walk in traffic to see might be an idea.

    1. Thank you Phil!! I will be sending out a notice on how to include RSS feeds and other ways to link to CarTech4you and will be sure to include you.

      Best,

      Amy

  2. Very good Amy. We need more consumer awareness in all 12 volt manufacturers innovative products. Voxx will be part of the effort, Thanks for the platform. Kudos to you and your team.

  3. EXCELLENT! I HAVE NO OTHER WORDS… YES I DO… IT’S A CAPITAL IDEA! WE ENCOURAGE ALL CAR AUDIO DEALERS TO FOLLOW THROUGH. YOU GO, GIRL!

  4. Great idea Amy. Retailers can use this to make their websites information resources and not just ways to generate commerce. I can envision many ways to use it to promote the technology, safety and entertainment options available in the industry. I can also see ways it can be used to establish the knowledge and expertise of participants in the 12V industry through (vetted) articles and information pieces that may be used to build confidence in consumers that there are knowledgeable, professional people who know how to service today’s vehicles. I may be stretching the concept a bit. But great tech only finds consumers who are confident in the people installing it.

  5. The way to support the site is simply to post the articles from CarTech4You on your own retail or supplier web site to get consumers interested. Just post a few paragraphs from the story and a link to cartech4you.com. Example

  6. BRAVO !!!
The industry needs it. Consumers need it.
I encourage all members of the supply chain, especially branded manufacturers and retailers, to find a way to participate and support this effort.
