PAC, a brand of AAMP Global, released the HDK001X Radio Replacement Kit designed for select 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycles with fairings.
The kit comes with a pre-programmed interface module for retaining handle-bar control functions, pre-wired installation harness, and mounting hardware, when installing a DIN sized radio in the fairing.
Users also get two choices in dash kit trim bezels, one that fully exposes the radio for quick access or a second bezel that has a cover. The cover is hinged and UV tinted to protect the radio from the elements.
“Our retailers are seeing more and more Harley motorcycles come through their bays so we’ve created a one-box radio replacement solution for them to properly upgrade an aftermarket radio and still keep the factory handle bar controls,” said AAMP general manager of integration products for AAMP Global Brett Riggs.
