Alta Mere, a national franchise of 12 automotive outfitter/window tint stores has upgraded its car audio selection to include driver safety features and devices.
It now provides a text blocking device, blind spot indicators, cellphone blocking, video recording and collision avoidance. It also added daytime lights and headlight restoration
Alta Mere operates franchises in six states including Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Maryland.
Alta Mere has been selling remote starters and alarms for 10 years, and GPS tracking for about 5 years. It also installs car audio systems, radar detectors, car security and remote start and keyless entry systems.
It also recently added paint protection services that guard against damage from rocks, pebbles, road debris, UV rays and road chemicals.
The expanded products are part of a store rebranding to improve customer experience, said the chain.
Alta Mere is a division of Moran Family of Brands, a franchiser of general automotive repair, transmission repair and auto accessories.
