A “super radio” for powersports vehicles was unveiled during CES that adds numerous features to the traditional head unit.

The product includes two GoPro-style cameras, inputs for lights and more. It is available from Sierra Power Sports, which is owned by the same company that distributes Elettromedia (Hertz, Audison) in the US–Advanced Marketing.

The DXP1000DVR radio has a 6.2-inch capacitive touch screen and HDMI input. Through a pair of cameras, it can record footage through a built-in DVR for up to 24 hours to a microSD card.

The radio has four outputs for UTV lights that are controlled on the radio screen.

The deck offers Bluetooth for handsfree calling with a push to talk option and audio streaming.

Through an HDMI connection to an Android phone, the radio can mirror maps and other features from the phone on the radio screen and control the phone. For iPhone users, you get mirroring without control from the radio.

The radio supports up to 1080p HD video and digital audio and it includes two USB ports– one for playback and the other for charging.

It works with the Polaris RZR exclusively. Models for the Polaris Slingshot and Yamaha UTVs will be available this year and a universal powersports version will also be available.

Suggested retail price on the DXP1000DVR is $1999.

Sierra Power Sports also makes additional accessories such as a kit that converts a UTV to a push to start vehicle that needs no key in the ignition.
