Rydeen Mobile Electronics announced it was awarded two 2016 CES Innovation Honors in the Vehicle Intelligence category for its crash warning/lane watch system, and a rear view replacement mirror with built-in screen and HDMI.
The PVR15W is a 3 in 1 driver safety product incorporating the latest technology in optical recognition. It offers advanced front collision warning, lane departure warning and a full feature DVR with GPS and G-sensor at a competitive $499 suggested retail price.
The MD4BT is another 3 in 1 solution consisting of a rear view mirror with a 4.3″ LCD screen. It has a rear camera input, Bluetooth for hands-free calling and Mi-Link digital inputs (HDMI/MHL) for connecting to a smartphone (Android or iOS). It shows the smartphone’s screen output on the mirror for safe viewing. It also has a proximity sensor for activating commands by hand motion and initiating voice commands such as Siri and Google Now. It can also playback audio from a microSD (not included) through the line-out option to hear sound from car speakers. MSRP is $299.
The Rydeen products will be on display at CES, January 6-9 in the North Hall, Booth 3106 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
