MESA, the Mobile Electronics Specialists of America buying/marketing group, announced the launch of MESA Money: a cost effective way to offer car audio customers financing.
The program is offered in partnership with Alliance Data’s Card Services business, which provides branded credit programs to many of the world’s most recognizable brands.
MESA said the program will offer qualified customers a MESA Money membership card that’s revolving, so once they are approved and get the card, they can come back for more financing.
Executive Director Ryan Gunter said the program is “very competitive.” “One of our members ran [a sale] the first day through traditional financing and got approved for $1,000. Then he ran this one and got approved for $6,000. So customers can tint their windows and get a new sound system. This is A, B, C good credit, not troubled financing.”
The program rolled out on April 15 and more than 50 members have signed up and are starting to go through the training process required to carry the program.
MESA currently has 129 members (54 Platinum and 75 Gold level members) with collective buying power of just over $250 million.
