Pioneer honored three of its distributors for 2014 with Audio America winning the award for Pioneer 2014 Distributor of the Year.
Also honored were R & D Distributing, and Mid-State Distributing.
The awards are based on distributors’ achievements in overall sales, monthly sales and inventory (S&I), execution of dealer agreements, and other dealer service measures.
“Our distributor network is like family and we’re honored to work with each one. They all deserve recognition for helping Pioneer succeed, but it’s important to bring attention to the top performers in the field and pay tribute to their commitment to our business. Thank you and congratulations to R&D, Mid-State and Audio America,” said Kevan Morris, Pioneer Executive VP of Sales for the Car Electronics Division.
Pioneer also honored internal employees. Tim Dingman, Technical Support Manager, received the Corporate Leader Award for his work serving Pioneer’s dealer and distributor network for more than 17 years.
Rex Ragland, District Sales Manager (DSM) was presented with the DSM of the Year Award. Ragland covers the states of Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. He has received this award eight times within the past 28 years with the company.
